Visitor statistics¶
The Visitors view is loaded in the daily overview by default when Statistics > Visitor statistics is opened. The other areas, which are described in the following chapters, can be displayed via the tabs highlighted in gray.
Visitors¶
In addition to the daily overview, the Visitors area has a monthly overview and a yearly overview. These can be opened via the tabs highlighted in white.
The period for the active view can be set using the input fields below the graphic. When you click into one of the fields, a calendar is displayed with which the date is set. After you have entered the start and end date, you can load the graphic by clicking on Save.
Page views¶
Via the Page views tab you can see which pages of your shop have been viewed and how often. By default, the daily view of the current day is displayed; the scope can be set via the tabs Today and Total, which are highlighted in white. The type of pages for the display can be set via the Page type dropdown menu:
- All
- Product
- Category
- Content
Below this, the number of results (for how many different pages the views should be displayed) can be set. If the field is left empty, the views for all pages are output.
Click on Save to display the statistics with the current settings.
User info¶
Under User info, the following information can be displayed:
- Browser
- Operating system
- Resolution
- Color quality
- Origin
To do this, click on the corresponding tabs highlighted in white. The number of different results can be adjusted via the Number of results input field. Then click on Save to reload the display.
Search terms¶
This area lists the occurrence of the entered search terms. You can choose between
- Internal search terms
- External search terms
which can be selected via the tabs highlighted in white.
Internal search terms refer to searches within the shop that are carried out via the usual search fields. External search terms refer to visits via the results pages of search engines. It is recorded which search terms were used.
The number of search entries taken into account can be set via the Number of results input field. Click on Save to apply the entry.
Configuration¶
Under the Configuration tab you have the option of setting the starting value for your visitor counter. This can be useful, for example, if you have moved your shop or reinstalled it. In this way, the counter reading of the old shop can be entered manually and thus continued.
To do this, enter the counter reading in the Visitors field and, in the Start date field, the corresponding date from which the original counter was in operation. With the IP block dropdown menu, the period during which an IP address should not be counted more than once can be set.
