OpenSearch Plugin

With the OpenSearch Plugin, the shop search can be added as a search engine to the search field in Internet Explorer and Firefox. The module can be configured under Toolbox > OpenSearch Plugin. Here you can select where the installation link should appear. To do this, place the checkmarks in the corresponding boxes.

In the OpenSearch Configuration tab, the texts in the searches can be freely defined. These include

  • Text for the menu box Search
  • Text for the advanced search
  • Short text for the search plugin
  • Title for the search plugin
  • Keywords for the search plugin
  • Contact e-mail for the search plugin
  • Description for the search plugin

Confirm the entries made by clicking on Save.

In the Advanced Search box, the shop search can be added to the search engines registered in the browser via the Browser quick search link.
